WASHINGTON, D.C. (April 17, 2015) – Black Life Coaches Network announces the selection of Dominique’ Reese as Coach of the Month for April 2015. The Coach of the Month Award recognizes a member of the network who, through their work, displays a commitment to BLCLife’s mission to help black people everywhere lead an extraordinary life by harnessing the power of life coaching.
Currently a personal financial coach with her money management and financial education company, Reese Financial Services, Reese provides personal financial coaching, daily money management services and financial education services to individuals and organizations. She specializes in using behavioral techniques to address her clients budgeting, debt reduction, saving, spending and credit needs.
Reese previously worked as a business development director and client engagement consultant at NestWise, which was a Registered Investment Advisor designed to provide a broad range of families and individuals access to high-quality and affordable personal financial advice.
An entrepreneur at heart, from 2009-2012 Reese served as Founder, President and CEO of CommuniTree LLC, an organization created to provide financial literacy sessions to every American community. CommuniTree delivered money management and wealth counseling to youth, low-income and single parent families and households with income less than $100,000, in order to create financial legacies and encourage generational wealth.
“I would like to thank Dr. Towanna Freeman and the Black Life Coaches Network team for this award, and the platform they provide for coaches like me. I am truly honored. The work I do is a labor of love and is totally beyond me, so I am proud that others recognize its value and impact,” said Reese. “As a personal financial coach and entrepreneur it is my goal to be successful in more ways than one. One way that I define my success is by how many lives I change, as it is my mission to change financial lives, one budget at a time.”
While studying Economics at Princeton University, she interned at Merrill Lynch as a Creative Resources Relationship Manager, and would go on to begin her career at Merrill Lynch, first as an analyst, and later as a financial advisor.
Black Life Coaches Network is proud to honor Dr. Dominique’ Reese as the latest recipient of the Coach of the Month Award and looks forward to her continued career achievement and the lasting impact her coaching work will have on the individuals, organizations and communities she serves.
